Dear locality saints,
We are looking forward to seeing you all this Saturday, August 29, at the 2026 Blending Meetings in Arcadia. Below are some final announcements.
Location:
Church in Arcadia meeting hall
630 Live Oak Ave, Arcadia, CA 91006
Fee: $15
Submit your payment through your locality contacts. The SCYP office will receive one payment per locality for all their attendees. Mail the payment to the SCYP office after the event.
Meetings:
We will have two sessions for all the young people.
The first session will be held simultaneously in four different rooms by age group. The second session will be held together.
As you arrive, go to your respective age group (see chart below).
Schedule:
4:30 pm – 6:00 pm — First session by age groups
- 7th-8th Grade (Main room – front section)
- 9th-10th Grade (Main room, back section, left side)
- 11th-12th Grade (Main room, back section right side)
- Parents and serving ones (Cafeteria) Translation into Chinese, Korean, and Spanish will be provided.
Translation: Those who need translation for the Parents/Serving Ones Fellowship should bring a Zoom-capable device and headphones. You will receive translation by using the “Interpretation” function. Zoom information will be provided on-site in Arcadia and is for translation purposes only; it is not intended for remote attendance.
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm — Dinner
Dinner will be served at three stations:
North side: Parents and Serving Ones
East side: 9th-10th Grade and 11th-12th Grade groups.
South side: 7th-8th Grade group.
All the stations will offer the same food this year.
Trash stations
There will be two trash stations:
• One outside the east entrance to the lobby.
• One at the southeast corner of the meeting hall in the parking lot
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm — Second session altogether
9:00 pm – 9:30 pm — Cleaning and resetting of the hall
What to Bring:
Due to the weather, we encourage you to bring a water bottle with ice, an umbrella, and/or a portable fan or a paper fan. Bring a pen or pencil for note-taking.
Parking:
Parking is limited; please carpool as much as possible.
